Best Dior Sauvage Clones in the UK (That Actually Smell Like It)

By Barry · 5 June 2026

Dior Sauvage is the best-selling men’s fragrance in Britain, and that popularity has spawned a wave of cheaper versions. The good news is that Sauvage is one of the easier profiles to get close to on a budget: its fresh, peppery, ambroxan-heavy signature leans on ingredients that are cheap and everywhere. Here are the clones and alternatives the community actually rates in the UK, with the honest caveats. We covered the original in full in our Dior Sauvage EDT review.

1. Armaf Ventana Pour Homme (around £20)

The default budget answer. Ventana keeps Sauvage’s recognisable fresh citrus opening and spicy, masculine feel, but comes across slightly smoother and less sharp than the original. At roughly a fifth of the price for 100ml, it is the one to try first. Performance is solid, and most wearers struggle to tell it apart at arm’s length. Check price at Amazon UK →

2. Lattafa Najdia (around £20)

From the same affordable Middle Eastern world as Lattafa Asad, Najdia offers a bright citrus opening over a strong, musky, ambroxan-driven dry-down. Wearers report eight to ten hours of longevity with powerful projection, which is impressive at the price. A good alternative if you want something in Sauvage territory with its own character. 3. Prada Luna Rossa Carbon (around £55 to £70)

Not a clone, but arguably the closest designer fragrance in DNA. It shares the bergamot, ambroxan, lavender and pepper profile, but comes across smoother, less aggressively spicy and more lavender-driven. If you want a step up from the budget clones while staying near the Sauvage vibe, this is the refined pick, and it is frequently discounted. Check price at Amazon UK →

Which should you buy first?

Start with Armaf Ventana Pour Homme. It is the closest budget clone, the cheapest, and the easiest to find, and it will tell you quickly whether the Sauvage profile is for you. If you want something smoother and more refined, Prada Luna Rossa Carbon is the designer step up. Either way you are getting most of a £90 experience for a fraction of the cost.
